WHO IS PUSHING BOARDERS?

Pushing Boarders is a collaboration between four socially-conscious skateboarding organisations:

SkatePal, Long Live Southbank, Skateism & Re-verb Skateboarding.

Between them, the four organisations have expertise in the fields of skateboarding charities, public space & activism, diversity & inclusion and skateboarding academia.

It started as an experiment:

In June 2018, we invited a group of pro-skaters, skate-NGOs, journalists and academics to London for the first event of its kind: a conference about the social impact of skateboarding worldwide.

People seemed to enjoy it,

So we’ve decided to keep going…

Pushing Boarders will continue as a yearly conference and we have plans to expand the organisation in the future, stay tuned!
